Ex-MCQ Security Officer Booked for Illegal Land Allotment in Quetta
QUETTA (ANN): The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Balochistan has registered a case against former Security Officer of Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ), Shabbir Ahmed Alizai, over allegations of illegal land allotment.
According to the inquiry, Alizai misused his authority to illegally allot valuable MCQ properties to himself and other unauthorized individuals. Records reveal that the accused allegedly registered plots on Jinnah Road and Mekangi Road under his own name through fraudulent means, while a plot on Adalat Road was also allotted in his name three times using similar illegal procedures — causing significant financial losses to the government.
Following the inquiry, the allegations were confirmed, prompting ACE Balochistan to formally register a case and initiate further investigations.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director (Investigation), ACE teams are conducting raids at multiple locations to apprehend the accused. Authorities have stated that efforts are underway to ensure that Alizai is brought to justice at the earliest.
